Nassau County Farm Bureau and the Northeast Florida Fair have had a longstanding tradition of partnering together to bring agricultural awareness to Nassau County. Our county Fair is held in the fall each year and serves as a conduit to relay agricultural messages to Nassau County residents who are not familiar with where their food comes from. At the Northeast Florida Fair we set up a booth to promote, educate and raise awareness on the betterment of local agriculture. We also educate the public about our organization's mission and purpose along with ways to get involved in youth programs.

NCFB helps to cultivate stronger relationships,promote agricultural literacy, and advocate for a united effort in supporting the future of food, fiber, and fuel production through programs like Farm City Week. This event is designed to bridge the gap between rural and urban communities by fostering greater understanding and appreciation of the vital role agriculture plays in everyday life. Through education display boards posted at the local public libraries, NCFB hopes to engage with consumers, students and local leaders to highlight the importance of agriculture, the challenges facing farmers and ranchers, and the strong interdependence between urban and rural communities.
