To provide support for the families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty and to provide support to law enforcement officers who are disabled in the line of duty by the felonious act of another and to provide assistance to law enforcement entities in locating individuals who murder or attempt to murder a law enforcement officer while acting in the line of duty. To provide assistance to law enforcement officers and their families who live in a county desginated a disaster and suffer harm.
