Programs
1 program
There has been a shortage of medical students deciding to pursue specialty training in nephrology. By exposing more medical students to the research and clinical experiences in nephrology, we strive to address the nephrology specialty shortage in the medical field. Florida society of nephrology sponsors 1 to 2 medical students in the kiimera program in miami each summer. Fsn then provides funding for all 10 to 11 students to attend the fsn annual meeting in january and present the research projects they completed during the kiimera program.
