The george floyd memorial center inc was started by the family of george floyd, who was murdered in may of 2020. His family wanted to create a legacy that will honor the man and also be a continuous giving source in order to honor his heart. The organization will provide higher education scholarships, promote the arts and promote youth leadership development.
