Food access project leverages technology and programs to help food banks and pantries increase access to food.

Food is medicine - nutritious food delivery program. In partnership with the chicago mayor's office for people with disabilities, our program uses technology to coordinate services from 10 community partners. Together we provide 2 monthly in-home deliveries of nutritious food and fresh produce to 176 food-insecure individuals with disabilities living in chicago's austin community. This program addresses hunger and promotes health and well being for our most vulnerable neighbors. This year 3232 deliveries were made; 87,271 meals.

Food is medicine - medically tailored grocery program. In partnership with sinai chicago, one of illinois' larges safety net hospitals, we are working with community health workers and 6 local partners to deploy technology that coordinates 2 monthly deliveries of medically tailored groceries and fresh produce. In september, we launched our first cohort that will serve 120 food insecure patients managing chronic disease living on the west side of chicago this pilot is paving the way for better health outcomes and improved quality of life through nutritious food. In 2024 236 in-home deliveries were made; 5,453 meals.

Research study to assess the success of the nutritious food delivery program after 12 months of operation. Results available mid 2025. Brought vivery technology to 1 non-food bank organization to provide a find food map that accesses food and programs across the state.
