Mission
To grow a robust and equitable food system in tillamook county through community engagement, education, farmer and entrepreneur support, and increasing access to locally grown food.
Programs

Local food programs provide snap acceptance and a matching incentive program at food roots marketplace, a local food storefront that provides increased access to fresh, healthy, locally-grown food for adults facing food insecurity. Partner with community organizations and food assistance programs to provide free local food boxes from food roots marketplace storefront to community members in need. Provide gardening education programs.
Farm to school provide farm to school and garden-based educational lessons and activities at mutliple schools throughout tillamook county, impacting over 1,000 students and their families. Activities include farm field trips, classroom farmer visits, local produce tasting tables, and family engagement events. Also assist schools with local food procurement efforts and school garden development and maintenance, including by engaging community volunteers.
