Mission

Foodcycle's mission is to provide food to food-insecure communities and to keep food waste out of landfills, which has a positive effect on climate change.

Programs

1 program

Foodcycle achieves the climate-related prong of its mission by reducing the greenhouse gas emissions of surplus food and directing it to food insecure communities instead of landfills. Foodcycle does this by utilizing electric vehicles and solar-powered refrigeration, including state-of-the-art standalone solar-powered storage units, and solar-powered refrigeration.
