Foothills Animal Rescue Inc

Foothills animal rescue operates two resale stores located in scottsdale and carefree, arizona. All goods are donated and sold to benefit foothills animal rescue's mission to rescue, care and adopt cats and dogs in our community. Items from women's clothing and accessories, to home goods and furniture are donated to the store.

Foothills animal rescue guarantees medical care for all animals in our care. Intake evaluations are also performed with not only a physical and social exam, but diagnostic tests are also performed before an animal in transferred into our care, which also accounts for the medical supplies needed at our shelter. All adopted animals are up to date on vaccines, have a microchip and are spayed or neutered before leaving our care. 159 animals needed additional medical care beyond spay/neuter, microchip and vaccines; that included dental cleanings and procedures, amputations, enuleation, emergency medical stays, mass removals, ringworm treatments and diagnostic tests. In 2024 foothills animal rescue received a grant from the arizona companion animal spay and neuter committee for $6,000 to spay and neuter shelter pets.
