Foothills Area Health Education Center Inc

Health careers recruitment: to educate community members about health career choices and recruit future health professionals. In conjunction with local partners we develop and implement health careers awareness and recruitement initiatives including: presentations for k-12 and postsecondary schools to increase knowledge of health professions and career pathways, participation in career fairs, and intensive programs to explore health career opportunities. Foothills ahec, in collaboration with the georgia statewide ahec network centers and program office, produces and provides both print and online access to the health careers in georgia manual, a comprehensive resource for preparing students for careers in health care.

Special projects to provide education and resources that assist and support health care professionals by providing high quality continuing education programming.
