For Hanks Sake

For hanks sake is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and retraining neglected and abused horses. In addition to helping disadvantaged horses, for hanks sake offers the same services to retired racehorses for their second careers once their racing time is over. We are committed to providing the horses in our stables a lifetime of love, comfort, and care. We honor them by providing the joy of safe, compassionate, and trusting relationships. For hanks sake plays a leading role in raising awareness of the need to actively identify and care for these horses, and as a way to give back to the community we connect with other organizations to include underprivileged children and at-risk youth in the proper care of rehabilitated horses so that, by interacting with these majestic, gentle animals, their self-esteem and self-confidence can be strengthened. Our affiliation with equinox stables, llc allows us to accomplish our mission in a professional environment with powerful and proven equine assisted learning programs. Mentorship and development of life skills through eal give children a glimmer of hope and a reason to live when all they have only known is how to survive. For hanks sake started with one horse, but its voice will continue growing to speak up for all animals that need it.
