At For Pet's Sake Rescue in Long Beach, MS, our mission is to provide stray and abused animals with a safe haven where they can heal, learn to trust, and prepare for life as cherished companions. We are dedicated to carefully matching each animal with the right adopter, giving them the best chance at a forever home where they will never be misplaced again. For Pet's Sake Rescue was established in 2019 in Long Beach, MS. Each year, our intake increases by hundreds of animals. For Pet's Sake Rescue helps Harrison County, Hancock County, Jackson County and George County. Our focus is on transporting animals out of the South to help reduce the overpopulation issue and the continued circulation of animals within the MS Gulf Coast.

Adoption supports the coordination and management of nationwide efforts to help find qualified adopters, posting detailed adoption profiles, communicating with potential adopters to answer questions and promote successful matches.
Vetting ensures that all animals entering For Pet?s Sake Rescue receive necessary medical care prior to adoption. Services include wellness exams, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, and treatment for illness or injury. In 2024, the organization provided 11050 vaccines and 98 spay/neuter services for owned pets in the community improving their quality of life and increasing their adoptability.
