Mission
We offer hope and help to refugee, asylumseeking, and immigrant families in the Washington D.C. metro area. We provide educational programs that help families learn English. We provide practical assistance and connections to community resources that can help them thrive. Finally, we proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ as the ultimate hope of healing for the brokenness we all experience.
Programs
1 program
Kids' Club. The program provides tutoring twice a week for elementary-aged children. Children receive small group tutoring that helps them improve their reading skills and practice English. These programs served 31 children from August 2024 - July 2025. Each club has a character-building theme with stories and discussions related to topics such as respect, honesty, friendship, generosity, etc. English conversation practice is also offered to parents of the children.
