Artist services: forecast provides funding to minnesota artists via our grant program ranging from $2,500-$10,000, and also serves as a valued support system for hundreds of artists in the larger public art community. With creative studio, forecast expands access to tools, resources, opportunities, and funding for artists to work in public, create partnerships, and advance their public art careers. We emphasize access for artists of color, indigenous artists, and groups that are traditionally excluded.

Expenses: $148KGrants: $84K

Story telling & research: forecast publishes a biannual digital publication, forward, that highlights how artists are partnering with cities, institutions and communities to courageously tackle the vital issues of our time. Alongside the publication we host forums and other engagements to continue the conversation on the topics of each issue. We also curate articles from our closed magazine, public art review, and offer custom publishing options to tell the stories of others in dynamic ways. Forecast also pilots new thinking, practices and research with the change lab fellowship program.
