Pet Food - The mission statement for Fort Bend PAWS is to provide items for the shelter and pets not covered under the county budget. In 2024, Fort Bend PAWS purchased food for the pets when the county funds could not cover the cost.

Various projects to assist and promote animal well being. The largest in 2024 was a n Empty Shelter Project which was a large scale spray and neuter event.

Medical - Medical care is provided to those pets that were in emergency need to see a veterinarian or to purchase emergency medical supplies when the county could not afford to do so.
