Mission
To promote and encourage the physical education, development and well being of students (cont.) to promote and encourage the physical education, development and well being of the students of fort hays state university in harmony with and in subjection to the general educational policy of said university; to determine the policies under which all athletic contests are scheduled and managed; to collect and own the receipts from all such athletic contests, and expend and disburse the same in said university; to manage state appropriated funds for athletics in accordance with state statutes; to borrow money; and to own or lease property, real and personal, and to do any and all things incidental or necessary to carry out the above purposes.
