Forty carrots family center's mission is to nurture healthy child and family development through research-based, relationship-centered education and mental health services.

Programs

Mental health program this program provides a wide range of mental health services including individual, group, and family therapy at forty carrots and at partner locations. In-person and virtual options help to eliminate barriers to treatment, making services efficient and effective for these target populations: students at title 1 elementary schools, mothers and children seeking shelter as a result of domestic violence, parents transitioning from homelessness, survivors of sex and human trafficking, families of children with a cancer diagnosis, any child/family with a self-identified mental health concern. 92% of clients receive services at no or low cost.

Parenting education program forty carrots believes that all families should have access to parenting education, a prevention measure linked by research to reduce the abuse and neglect of children. The parenting education program works throuhgout the community striving to reach as many families from all walks of life as possible. Through partnership with other community organizations, forty carrots provides parenting education to our community's most at-risk families, inclduing teen parents, court-ordered families in crisis, pregnant women recovering from substance use disorder, and homeless families. These are just some of the vulnerable clients who received essential information, skills, and support weekly through this vital program. The program consistently achieves 100% of its outcome goals. 97% of clients in the program receive services at no cost.
