On behalf of houston's children and their families, the riverside project brings together organizations and passionate people working as one to help families heal and children thrive.

Programs

Many churches in houston want to support vulnerable children and families in their community. With guidance, churches can bring hope and healing to their communities in an effective, sustainable way. Our church mobilization inititative connects churches to resources, training, and relationships that enable them to serve these families and bless their communities.

Many children involved in foster care have experienced trauma that has impacted their ability to trust. The harris county tbri collaborative helps professionals and caregivers build trust and meet the unique needs of children with a history of complex, developmental trauma.

The babysitting collaborative is a stream-lined, multi-agency certification course for foster care babysitters.

Expenses: $22K

The system transformation program strengthens the child and family well-being ecosystem through collaboration, awareness, and innovation. Includes our annual celebration breakfast, trp podcast, blog, as one documentary stories, etc. These activities shares stories and insights that inspire engagement and advance lasting, system-wide change.
