Fostering Together Gulf Coast

Family events: hosted events to support families and help build healthy attachments. These included an end of school pool party, easter basket give away, a back to school bash, thanksgiving food baskets, and a christmas giveaway event. 402 children received easter baskets. 402 children received easter basksets. 308 backpacks with school supplies were distributed. 101 families received thanksgiving food baskets. 558 children received christmas gifts.

Recruit and train foster/adoptive parents:helped to recruit and train 41 new foster families. Hosted monthly support group meetings with a monthly training on foster care and adoption related topics. Awarded the tory toomey legacy award to an outstanding foster family in recognition for their years of service to the community.
