Mission
The purpose of the foundation is to advance the profession of dental laboratory technology by developing educational curriculum and programs that will be relevant and accessible to dental technicians and other members of the dental team.

Scholarships - the cdt pillar scholarship awards funds to help dental laboratory technicians pursue the certified dental technician designation by covering the testing and application fees. Cdt pillar scholarships awarded during 2024 totaled $68,080. The rg pillar scholarship awards funds to help dental laboratory technicians pursue the recognized graduate designation by covering the testing and application fees. Rg pillar scholarships awarded during 2024 totaled $4,675; the 2024 scholarship cost was offset by unused funds of $1,135 from 2022 and 2021. The cdt and rg pillar scholarships are comprised solely of funds that have been donated by individuals and businesses who wish to contribute to the betterment of the dental laboratory technology profession.
