The foundation for independent living, inc. Focuses on the welfare of individuals eighteen (18) years of age and older with intellectual disabilities who are capable of living independently with professional assistance and guidance. The foundation provides an opportunity for individuals to live apart from their families while encouraging them to obtain their highest level of independence. These opportunities are provided by programmatically offering a community based environment designed to enchance opportunities for growth and maximizing individuals' strengths. The foundation was created to assist each individual in living as independent a lifestyle as possible.
