Music Is Central Program (30% of program funding). The program supported 990 students during schoolday and afterschool music programs in elementary, middle and high schools by providing donated instruments, music supplies, advisory services, and guest instructors for under-resourced schools. Eighty percent of the youth are eligible for the Free and Reduced cost Meals. The six supported schools are in Prince Georges, Montgomery and Alexandria counties. Also, this year we opened a state of the art Music Technology Centr at Andrew Jackson Schoo; where 100% of the students receive free and reduced cost lunch.
