Education: The organization has provided funding through grants to an accredited society so that in the evolving world of vein care, it is able to provide the latest training and continuing education to vein care practitioners through live, enduring, and immersive virtual courses. This training to individuals allows them to improve and increase their capabilities when working with their patients for a better quality of life.
Through the organizations charitable grant making, the field of vein care works with other medical associations to develop standards of care, certificate exams, and educational materials for the physicians and allied healthcare professionals interested in venous and lymphatic disease. It also allows them to have a direct voice on the floor of the AMA and in Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for recommendations to protect patient access to care.
