The Fox Valley Family YMCA, Inc. is a not-for-profit, charitable organization dedicated to servicing the community by helping to promote youth development, social responsibility, and health living. The programs are available to all regardless of age, race, sex, faith, disability, or income level.

Ymca aquatics the ymca aquatic program provides swimming and safety skills. This promotes life-long good health and self-confidence.

Ymca gymnastics is provided in the y's new state of the art training facility. The ymca provides students with the resources to help them achieve their gymnastic goals. Performing arts the ymca offers a wide variety of dance classes for ages 18 months through 18 years. The dance program develops a person physically, artistically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Throughout the year, the ymca offers a variety of art classes for children to experience a variety of art mediums such as painting, drawing, mosaics, ceramics, and sculpting. Ymca youth sports programs we have developed several types of sports programs such as gymnastics, basketball and soccer. Our sports programs emphasize development of skill, health and fitness, safety, cooperation, values, self-esteem, and respect for others. The objective is to establish a practice that will benefit the individual over their life-time. We had over 700 youth participate in our programs.

Fitness healthy lifestyles are achieved through nurturing mind, body and spirit, well-being and fitness. In addition to fitness classes and fitness facilities, the y offers a variety of fitness programs that support physical, intellectual and spiritual strength.

Performing arts are a great way to increase a child's flexibility, range of motion, physical strength and stamina. The repetitive movements involved in dance can improve muscle tone, correct poor posture, increase balance and coordination and improve overall cardiovascular health,.
