Frailty Myths was founded by four women in Oakland of 2016. Using our experience working and living at the forefront of direct action, from social justice and labor politics to the front lines of the environmental movement, we have built a transformative nonprofit and community. We offer free workshops for women, trans, and gender nonconforming folks on skills traditionally dominated by men, including woodworking, climbing, and sailing.
