Franconia Volunteer Fire Department Inc

Building Maintenance: In 2024, FVFD contracted out all corrective and preventive maintenance for the HVAC and plumbing systems, corrective maintenance for electrical system and appliances janitorial services and supplies to support volunteer operations and snow removal and groundskeeping. Additionally, FVFD contracted a professional architect who subcontracted professional mechanical and electrical engineers to do an assessment of the building HVAC and electrical systems to determine the required upgrades to extend the life of the building.

Special Events/Installation: FVFD held their annual Installation Dinner for installation of board members and officers. The dinner featured recognition and awards to volunteers for their service. Additionally, FVFD participated in the annual Fire Station Open House for public fire safety awareness engagement.

Other Program Services included insurance, a $2,000 donation to Koinina Foundation, purchase of uniforms and supplies for volunteers, insurance and purchase of miscellaneous medical supplies.
