Housing: frannie peabody center is committed to meeting the housing and residential needs of people living with hiv/aids in maine. Haven, fpc's statewide housing assistance program, provides tenant-based subsidies and short-term rent, mortgage and utility payment assistance to low-income individuals and families living with hiv/aids.
Prevention: frannie peabody center's hiv prevention and education programs focus on targeted outreach and recruitment, referrals to testing, linkages to support services and medical care, partner counseling and referral services and low barrier anonymous rapid hiv and hcv testing. Peer support: fpc offers a weekly peer support group facilitated by two fpc case managers that provides a confidential and safe space to learn and process experiences in a supportive environment.
