To serve law enforcement officers through improvement of the profession and the protection of the rights of the officers. To educate the public and legislators to local problems and civil injustices. To improve the level of law enforcement and to preserve and to protect individual rights. To provide educational programs to warn the public of crimes and how to combat them. To help create understanding and progress in the relationship between law enforcement and the community and to exercise all powers granted under the laws of the state of new mexico to non-profit corporations.
