Free Buryatia Foundation

The free buryatia foundation (fbf) conducted signifcant activities on social media. A youtube channel was established and videos posted demonstrating the buryats against the war campaign. In addition to creation of the fbf's website, an instagram account was established for posting of death statistics, text interviews and advice of how to terminate a contract with the army. Over time official accounts on every social media platform were created. Investigations were conducted and published on all social media platforms regarding cruelties perpetrated on the buryats in the war in ukraine. Our research was later confirmed by the prosecutor general's office of ukraine. Foundation employees participated in interviews for various news platforms including freedom - ukrainian tv channel, belsat - belarusian opposition tv channel, "popular politics", navalny live, khodorkovsky live, tv rain - russian opposition media.

The free buryatia foundation (fbf) helped people to evacuate abroad. In a short time, ten buses with people from buryatia were evacuated to mongolia. Once there refugees were provided legal assistance in crossing the border with mongolia, kazakhstan and various other neighboring countries. In order to provide help employees of our foundation went onsite to mongolia, kazakhstan, and korea.
