Our parrots help by inspiring visitors to learn more, and toparticipate in one of our multiple educational programs. We teachadults and children the proper methods of avian care to advocate forthe well being of companion parrots in society as a whole. We bringthe community together through events to celebrate the human animalbond and foster the connection between parrots and people.

We train adult volunteers in parrot care and interpretive communications, who join our expert staff in helping guests develop a lasting concern for the well-being of exotic birds. OFF SITE OUTREACH - Free Flight travels to local venues e.g., schools, assisted living facilities, private homes, corporate offices, and public spaces and community events in San Diego County, where we offer interactive educational presentations on exotic birds to increase public awareness for their well-being and of the special human-avian bond.
Other programs include bird sponsorship which provides individuals with the opportunity to financially sponsor a bird without the full burden of ownership but with dedicated interaction.
