Programs
1 program
Community awareness/resources and media: engaged community providers and the community at large to collaborate to offer drug prevention services to the community. Hosted pop-up resource fairs quarterly at overdose hotspots in the community, where we partnered with 6 organizations in the substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery sphere to bring resources and awareness relating to mental health and substance use. 187 people were trained on narcan administration, and 1,297 medication disposal bags were distributed. Hosted an end addiction walk where 2,500 people attended and proceeds funded 255 scholarships for treatment. Maintained a website with information about prevention, treatment, and recovery resources. There were 20 podcasts recorded, and 20 original blogs posted on the website. There were over 13.5 million impressions through digital awareness through social media and approximately 50,000 engagements on digital media campaigns.
