Friends in Solidarity is a ministry instituted by Roman Catholic women and men religious in the US to raise awareness and support the educational, health, agricultural and pastoral needs of the peoples of Africa and especially in South Sudan.

Solitarity Teacher Training College (STTC) - Since 208, STTC has played a crucial role in strengthing South Sudans education sector, graduating 854 teachers through its in-service and pre-service certficate programs. Approximately 77% of these graduates are currenty employed in the education sector, helping to address the countrys critical shortage of qualified teachers and improving access to quality education.
Juba Ministry - the Solidartity with South Sudan Office is headquartered in Juba. The grant made to them covers the salaries of the: the finance manager,finance assistant, roaming finance officier, HR manager, administrative assistant. It also covers the cost of operations in Juba which include renting an office space, and other expenses related to travel to the outstations of the ED, living expenses of the Juba community members, legal fees, etc.
