Acquisition and rehabilitation of local historic structures that are endangered by neglect or being considered for demolition. Once rehabilitated, the structures are to be placed in service to provide economic development opportunities, create new jobs, and partner with local government revitalization efforts in a rural community. Building space will be available for small business use at a less than fair market rental lease agreement. Non monetary support, such as business management assistance and mentoring will also be available to ensure the small businesses become viable and sustainable.
