Founded in September 1997, Friends of Castlewood Canyon State Park is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting, preserving, and promoting Castlewood Canyon State Park in Franktown, CO. In cooperation with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Friends of Castlewood Canyon organizes and participates in educational and fundraising activities to: Enhance visitor experience, Enable park enhancements, and Support park staff and volunteers.
