Mission
The organization is committed to preserving and protecting dugas community park and dumont hill park while providing educational and recreational opportunities for the region. In partnership with western kentucky university and the college heights foundation, the park will work with learners ranging from pre-k to adults to provide varied and meaningful learning experiences. The park will encompass roughly 320 acres and offer numerous amenities to the public including walking/hiking trails, amphitheater, farmers market, tree house village, horseback riding trails and stable, and mountain biking trails. These experiences will be intertwined with civil war heritage, natural conservancy, health and wellness, as well as agricultural uses to become a one-of-a-kind rural heritage park.
