Friends Of Fernhill Park

We are a small all volunteer group. We are registered in the Park Friends Network through Fairmount Parks and Recreation. We hold free events throughout the year, to bring positivity and neighborhood involvement into our park. We also hope to displace many of the negative activities that may go on in a park, such as vandalism, drugs and criminal activity. We liaise with Parks and Rec re issues in the park, have set up a neighborhood food forest, hosted "goat days", bird walks, tree identification tours, fall festivals, summer fun nights, National Night out, etc. We have a diverse neighborhood, and to include all who want to participate, never charge fees to belong to the Friends group or to attend our events.
