Friends Of Hillel At Stony Brook Inc

Shabbat - hillel hosts shabbat at least 15 times annually for jewish undergraduate and graduate students at stony brook university. Shabbat is the jewish day of rest. On friday evenings, students gather together for prayer and a kosher dinner.

Israel - one of the key parts of our mission and vision of the organization is for students to build an eduring commitment to jewish life, learning, and israel. This class includes programs related to hosting events and educational opportunities around israel and one of our key staff members whose sole job is israel engagement and education.

Other programs which include staff engagements, peer engagement, jewish university, hanukkah, high holy day, jsa, fresh fest, other holidays, sukkot, tzedek & wellness, interfaith center, jewish learning, jlf, religious life and grad student engagement.
