Artist-in-Residence Showcases - FoIFCC is hosts free public events that showcase visual, performing, and interdisciplinary art work and bring community members together. In August and December 2024, FoIFCC hosted events to highlight the range of creativity among the IFCC Artists-in-Residence. In August, we activated the building with a youth marketplace and hosted a concert in the adjacent Patton Square Park. Approximately 300 people attended. In December approximately 45 people attended the Artist Showcase, which involved visual art in the gallery, and performances in the theater. Events like these are the primary way that FoIFCC activates the IFCC building in order to build momentum for its renovation. Many expenses associated with the December event occurred in the 2025 tax year rather than 2024.
Grantmaking Administration - Our work on this new City contract to administer grant funds focused on obtaining the contract, and launching the application cycle. We collaborated with the City on program guidelines, issued the public call, hosted info sessions, and prepared for the applicant review process. Grantees were selected in the 2025 tax year, and monies associated with their grants fall to 2025.
