Mission
To preserve quality of life and maintain the natural beauty of the greater Riverside area by preserving hills ridgelines arroyos scenic vistas and wildlife corridors by upholding conservation acts ordinances codes and General Plan policies. To educate citizens and officials in sustainable practices for land use and planning.

Purchased local native plants to install within a 1.17 acre native plant pollinator and alkali meadow habitat at Ryan Bonaminio Park in Riverside California. This is a City of Riverside public park visited by hundreds of residents every day. Many visitors enjoy walking by the habitat and viewing native plants and wildlife. The project is being done by volunteers. FRH has committed about $5K in funds to be used for this project over the next few years.
Provided a donation of $500 plus $15 processing fee to Community Partners in support of the Grow Riverside conference. Grow Riverside is a City of Riverside initiative focused on growing a robust local food and agriculture system that supports local and regional food economies spurs community involvement enables profitable enterprises while providing the needs of the community through the sustainable use of resources.
Organized volunteers to pick up trash along a 1 mile stretch of roadway adjacent to open space in the City of Riverside. Provided tools and refreshments for the volunteer team.
0Our group has been working with the City of Riverside and the County of Riverside on ways to expand and improve the network of trails in the Box Springs Mountains including those that connect to planned trails within the City of Riverside. This is one of our major contributions. We plan to provide a grant to the County to improve trails once an agreement is reached.
