Investing in healthcare and education to build economic self-reliance for rural ugandans through a fiscal partnership with kida, a ugandan ngo.

2.subsidy for public health community outreach: 5,152. Community outreaches continued in 2024 to address primary health care needs: vaccinations and hiv testing were performed, family planning sessions were conducted, and women received prenatal care. Kida's drama group performed shows to teach disease prevention during community outreaches. Trained volunteers visited many hiv positive clients in their homes. The drama group also helped promote kida's health insurance cooperative (kchip).
Economic empowerment programs for the poor: 32,140. 1.orphan and vulnerable children education costs: 26,958. 105 students were supported with school fees, supplies and counseling. Kida staff monitored student progress with home and school visits. 51% were in secondary school. 2.vocational school for youth subsidy: 5,182. Students pay a small tuition that partly covers the cost for teacher salaries and supplies. Goal is for each student to learn a marketable trade and earn income. In 2024 instruction continued in the classes of brick building, carpentry, tailoring and hairdressing. 26 students were enrolled and 7 graduated.
