Mission
Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control aims to improve the lives of adoptable pets at the shelter in foster care and within the community. We achieve this by promoting adoptions facilitating transfers providing medical care training and supplies and participating in outreach events. Our efforts also focus on raising awareness about Sangamon County Animal Control and educating the public on animal welfare.
