To support protection and stewardship of estuaries by being a trusted voice on estuary policy and by enhancing the work of South Slough Reserve.

Science Research. The Organization is dedicated to protecting the functions, values, and processes of estuaries, and enhancing the work of the South Slough Reserve. Projects include restoration of upland forests, collection of environmental samples for eDNA analysis, and mapping Lamprey habitat.

Education & Interpretive Programs. The Organization sponsors classes for topics that include the estuary, tides. clamming, birding, bat habitats, mushroom identification, and events for summer camp, hiking, nature walks, kayaking, and paddling on the South Slough Reserve.
