Mission
The friends of the beverly hills public library was founded to help maintain and preserve the library's tradition of service to the community of beverly hills and its surrounding area. The friends is dedicated to raising funds to supplement, to enhance, and to enrich the library's children, teen and adult programs, collections and facilities.
Programs

Other collections - the friends support the children's library collections by purchasing the awe learning program to support school readiness and literacy in the community.
Speakers - the friends provide for a place for speakers to discuss topics related to adult programs, children's programs, friend's presentation and teen programs.
Library enhancements - the friends support library enhancements by providing funds for the purchase ipads and other items for the library.
Homebound deliveries - the friends support the homebound delivery program by providing funds for the delivery of books to patrons who are ill or aged, and cannot visit the library in person.
