The Friends of the Historic Columbia River Highway support the restoration and reconnection of the historic highway through the Columbia River Gorge. Our vision is to educate the public about the historic highway Remember, advocate for the restoration and preservation of the existing drivable portions to their splendid 1920s appearance Restore, and using funds raised to Reconnect drivable portions with pedestrian and bicycle accessible trails creating a continuous route through the Columbia River Gorge while Reviving the economies of the local communities.
