Provide library programs for children and adults, and hold book sales to promote the library:the friends fund many of the librarys enrichment programs for children, teens, and adults, including: annual poul anderson creative writing contest for high school students; the summer and winter concert series; speaker programs; the summer reading programs; lamorinda reads and paws to read.

Repair and maintain library facilities.
