This gift was to support the new build of the seamus heaney centre - a named lecture theatre for 60 students.
The pathway bursary fund supports widening participation in higher education by providing an annual bursary of 1,000 to every student entering queen's through the pathway opportunity programme. The programme works with young people who are the most able but least likely to attend university.
