The purposes of the corporation are to: perpetuate the history of san felipe de austin and other famous texans who lived here, conserving and developing the historical resources of the historic site, designate, mark, preserve and maintain historical buildings, sites and landmarks, provide leadership, services and education to that end, and preserve important artifacts and records.
