Friends Of The Weeks Public Library

The friends of the weeks public library is a registered non-profit organization founded in 2007 to support the work and objectives of the weeks public library, to supplement its resources, and enrich cultural opportunities for greenland residents. The organization's officers include a chairman, secretary and treasurer, and membership is open to all residents with a nominal dues structure. All meetings are open to the public and the primary purpose is to help raise funds and awareness for the library. A number of small fundraisers are held during the year as well as other projects. The group's most recent focus is to support the needs of the library's upcoming addition and expansion.
