Programs
3 programs
Our organization has allocated $500 annually toward the cost of hosting/technical support for the cemetery's digital record-keeping system, eCIMS.
Landscaping is an annual program. Flowers are purchased and planted and mulch is spread at the entrance, around the office, at notable gravesites, as well as at the cremation garden. This enhances the cemetery grounds for all visitors.
We allocated $150 to the John W. Jones Museum. John W. Jones was an escaped slave who was active in the underground railroad in Elmira and is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery. We also allocated $150 to the Elmira Garden Club in recognition of their many projects in the cemetery.
