Friendship village employs several low-income employees who need financial assistance to further their education primarily through mesa community college or arizona state university. The village sets selection standards which essentially allow grants to all employees who successfully complete qualifying course work and certificate programs. This enables employees to get certifications in areas like refrigeration and nursing.
Providing grants to residents who have experienced financial difficulties.
Provide funding for projects that enhance resident healthcare. This expenditure includes providing health care equipment and improvements in common areas, residences, and the nurse practitioners office. Provide cultural opportunities to the residents by funding the library, music program and mosaics. Provide improvements that increase the safety of the residents.
