Mission
Fundacion manos del sur, inc. Functions with only one goal in mind: to see latin american children rise from the extreme poverty they live in and grow up to become healthy and productive adults. Manos del sur achieves this by allying with entities within latin america that devote themselves to improving the lives of children in need. Manos del sur aims to change children's lives by supplying them with the necessary tools to become the educated, independent decision makers they are meant to be. Latin america's neediest children are provided the necessary aid by connecting them with individual patrons, other non-profit organizations and international corporations. Fundacion manos del sur has designed an integral assistance program (iap) to finance projects that focus on all aspects of successful childcare including, health, nutrition and education.

Another goal is to raise community awareness and concern about the wellbeing and lack of education of children living in impoverished areas in latin america. Through the "train 2 give" program, the organization has been able to partner with a group of athletes who contribute and raise funds for the organization's causes. They train and compete together bringing awareness of the organization's mission involving their family, friends, and community in general.
